Winter 2008-2009 : the Flocons de Sel changed location in order to find more space in summer as well as in winter in the heights of Megève.

Kristine and Emmanuel Renaut invite you to discover the new surroundings of the ‘’Flocons de Sel’’: spacious, comfortable, authentic… to escape the daily routine, why not come for dinner with some friends, or simply for a massage or beauty care in our spa…

We are proposing a ‘’voyage of taste’’ within a cosy environment where one cultivates a certain style of living, to discover new sensations of flavours, to meet people who would like to share their know-how of gastronomy.

We would like to make each stay unique, to give to our guests the possibility to make the most of the tranquillity of the place, with luxury services offered in a convivial atmosphere, without ostentation and at the same time help with exploring the landscape, this unique environment which is ours.

The hotel

The hotel has 6 rooms decorated in a refined and sophisticated style, combining design and functionality in a cosy atmosphere. Kristine & Emmanuel Renaut, the owners are responsible for the interior design and the layout of each room and lounge to welcome their guests as they would in their own home.

Each room is unique and has its own charm. They have in common large bright and open spaces, appointed in a loft style, using a mix of materials including wood, glass, stone, leather, a mix of classic and modern.

These rooms are divided into four categories:
- 2 Superior rooms of 30 m² in ground garden, with private terrace facing the Jaillet.
- 2 Deluxe rooms of 45m ², with wood stove, balcony or terrace.
- 2 Junior Suites of 45 m² with fireplace or wood stove, sitting area, balcony and small terrace.
- 2 small private cottages called "Mazot" of 65 m² with terrace and private gardens overlooking the mountains and valley.

All rooms are equipped with queen-size bed, flat screen TV and minibar.

We also have an apartment of 75m ² on 2 levels, in the village, with hotel services offered, ideal for family breaks.

The services offered to our customers: concierge, free shuttle to the village center and lifts, free WiFi connection, secure underground parking, safe, laundry.

For management committees and seminars, we are privatizing one of our shows, which is equipped with a video projector and screen. Different configurations of the room are possible: round tables (10 people), theater ...

Restaurants
In our gourmet restaurant « Flocons de Sel », our Chef Emmanuel Renaut cultivates a kitchen in his image: greedy, bright, colorful, engaging, current.
You will be able to choose a la carte, or one of our menus: the « Promenade du Sel au Sucre » 77€, « Randonnée au Leutaz » - our tasting menu to € 147 for lunch and a menu "according to the Chief" to 39 € uros.

Our bistro “Flocons Village”, located in the village, close to the church square, offers simple, regional and tasty cuisine.
The atmosphere of this mountain restaurant  is elegant and relaxed.

We offer a carte with a selection of starters, mains courses and desserts which change every 2 to 3 weeks.
You can chose our €24 formula (2 courses menu: starter & main course or main course & dessert)
                        our €29 formula (3 courses menu: starter, main course and dessert).

Spa

A hotel on the summit, the new ‘’Flocons de Sel’’ opened its own Spa corner, to provide guests with an innovative beauty-care programme which reflects the gastronomy of Emmanuel Renaut.

In homage to the multiplicity of flavours and mountain colours, white or green.  Inspired by the vast properties of plants and herbs, used by the chef, a care menu for face and body treatments was created.

The themes of the care programme are in harmony with the seasons: winter white and summer green, with its fir trees, mountain flowers and of course the spring water of Megève.

Face, body and soul are pampered with a real gourmet menu: essential oils and handmade creams.

A virtual stroll through the mountains with the help of your senses, in order to shake off stress, tensions and tiredness.

Emmanuel Renaut

“Flocons de Sel” was created 10 years ago by a young chef, Emmanuel Renaut. Trained in Paris, he began his career in the restaurant of the Hotel Crillon, with Christian Constant, teaming with, among others, Yves Camdeborde. He joined Marc Veyrat at Auberge de l'Eridan, he helped him in kitchen for seven years. This experience is interrupted by a stint in the kitchen of the head Yves Thuriès. After a stay in London, where he runs the kitchen at Claridge's, he returned to the mountains and settled in Megeve. Meilleur Ouvrier de France and Tour de France Companion, Emmanuel Renaut gets a second Michelin star in 2006 and third in 2012. He is also part of "Great Chefs" Relais & Chateaux. Since December 2008, he completed his project by creating a cookery school, a bistro, a hotel and a spa...
